ADVISORY NO. 58, s. 2026
CONDUCT OF ASYNCHRONOUS CLASSES ON OCTOBER 30-31, 2026

In observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, and to allow students, faculty, and staff to travel safely and spend time with their families, all classes scheduled on Friday, October 30, and Saturday, October 31, 2026, shall be conducted asynchronously.

However, the College of Medicine and the School of Law may conduct in-person or synchronous classes, while the Graduate School may conduct synchronous or asynchronous classes, depending on the nature of their class activities.

In all other colleges, activities that require in-person participation shall proceed as scheduled. These include examinations, clinical duties, fieldwork, on-the-job training, thesis and dissertation defenses, and other relevant assessments.

Faculty members must provide students with learning activities, materials, or assessments that can be completed remotely and announce the details through their official class channels in advance. Students are expected to complete the assigned tasks within the set deadlines.

Face-to-face classes shall resume on November 3, 2026, in line with the earlier advisory lifting the Flexible Learning Week. November 2, 2026, remains a Special (Non-Working) Day.

For strict compliance and guidance of all concerned.
