CBA, CAFA, CCS programs awarded Level 3 re-accreditation

The Office of Quality Assurance awarded certificates of accreditation to one graduate and two undergraduate programs after they attained the Level III Re-Accredited status of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities.

The Office of Quality Assurance awarded certificates of accreditation to one graduate and two undergraduate programs after they attained the Level III Re-Accredited status of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities.

The programs Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Marketing Management, Bachelor of Fine Arts major in Visual Communication, and Master of Information Technology received their certificates this morning (October 23) at the Engineering AVR, which will be valid from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2029.

OQA Director Dr. Nino Corpuz lauded the deans, faculty members, and librarians who exerted efforts in attaining the level III re-accreditation.

In response, College of Computer Studies Dean Dr. Alvincent E. Danganan said the achievement is a result of the college's collective actions and commitment for continuous improvement. 

“The milestone reflects not only our commitment to quality and excellence, but also our alignment with the vision and mission of Tarlac State University to be globally competitive and recognized for excellence in sciences and emerging technologies," Dean Danganan said.

"Through our academic programs, research initiatives, and community engagement, we try to develop empowered students, future-ready professionals, and impactful innovations that meet both local and global needs," he added.

The OQA handed over the certificates to college deans Ar. Marco F. Bildan of the College of Architecture and Fine Arts, Dr. Jhonel C. Panlilio of the College of Business and Accountancy, and Dean Danganan

Meanwhile, TSU President Dr. Arnold E. Velasco's message, delivered by Presidential Communications Secretary Asst. Prof. Maricor Cheska B. Santos, emphasized the essence of accreditation visits in upholding the standards of excellence and quality to improve program offerings.

“Always remember that the accreditation results to be discussed by the OQA are significant for our programs because they will highlight our strength and maintain the practices and approaches that we do best, and enhance what is necessary as well," Asst. Prof. Santos read. (jlm-OPA)
